Redefining the Purpose of Artificial Intelligence Towards Human Empathy
1. Context — The Moral Gap
We are witnessing an unprecedented acceleration of artificial intelligence.
Autonomous systems already transport people, diagnose diseases, and make decisions once reserved for human judgment.
Yet, what we call intelligence often lacks what truly defines humanity: empathy, moral discernment, and responsibility.
This is the moral gap — the distance between what AI can do technically and what it should do ethically.
When a self-driving bus in China operates without the capacity to recognize human distress — a fainting passenger, a heart attack, a birth — we are reminded that technical perfection is not moral awareness.
2. Vision — HumanFirstAI
HumanFirstAI is not an anti-AI movement.
It is a human-centered framework designed to ensure that technology amplifies, rather than replaces, the best of human nature.
Its mission is to bridge the divide between machine acceleration and human understanding, building systems that integrate emotional intelligence, ethical reasoning, and contextual awareness.
We believe the future belongs to empathetic intelligence — AI that collaborates with humans, not just imitates them.
3. The Four Pillars of HumanFirstAI
Human-Centered Intelligence
Design AI that understands and adapts to human emotions and contexts — using technology to serve dignity, not data.
Ethical Experience Design
Measure success not by efficiency but by empathy, trust, and human well-being.
Responsible Autonomy
Define clear levels of human oversight.
Automation should enhance human judgment, not replace it.
Human Skill Augmentation
Train people to coexist and collaborate with AI — strengthening empathy, creativity, and ethical decision-making.

Redefining the Purpose of Artificial Intelligence Towards Human Empathy
English version
4. Our Commitment
We commit to:
Keep humans in the loop, not just in theory but in real operation.
Build transparent, fair, and empathetic systems that reflect human values.
Promote education and governance that align technology with moral purpose.
Because true progress is not faster AI — it’s wiser AI.
The future of intelligence must be human by design.
